Responsible for the economic development and tourism function of Council including administering the Council’s Tourism and Economic Development Steering Committee and developing and implementing initiatives that aim to ensure Lockhart Shire is attractive and welcoming to businesses, industry, residents, and visitors.

Working within a team environment to promote the City of Wagga Wagga and surrounds as a great place to live, work, visit and invest in.Help create new and building on the existing relationships between City of Wagga Wagga and Destination NSW, other forms of govenment and businesses.Market the City in various forms of media.Provide high quality customer service to visitors and the local community in areas of local regional and national travel informationProvide assistance with conferences and events .Conduct City tours as required for visiting local, national and international coach groups, conference groups, new students with Charles Sturt University.Speak to visiting school groups about the services that the Visitor Economy Industry provides to visitors and residents.

 Set up and use of Leica 1200 Total Station Electronic Theodolite for subdivisions, house surveys, contour surveys, pegging out new houses and roads Set up and use of Global Positioning System (GPS) to accurately measure position and levels on certain jobs Use Turbo Cad Drawing System to draw subdivision plans, house plans and easement plans Entering files into database for record keeping.
