Blue Mountains

President of Incorporated Non-Profit Association, organising, promoting and running Ettin Con, a social (tabletop & video) gaming weekend in the Blue Mountains, including building a dynamic promotional and event information website with many automated features, custom CMS and broad integrations with other web services. Logistics, graphic design, marketing, HR, fundraising and web tasks all documented and packaged up as a whitelabel template for similar conventions to utilise. Latest attendance ran at 250 people per day plus 20 staff. Site built on PHP/Javascript/SQL and Humanitix, previously incorporating TryBooking, Eventbrite, Zapier, IFTTT, Buffer, MailChimp, G Suite (docs API), Leaflet and DokuWiki.

3mth contract configuring and styling mobile apps and websites for various mutual banks and credit unions using HTML/CSS/JS, including Bootstrap and JQuery. Software used: Git, Node, Visual Studio Code, MS Azure DevOps TFS, IIS Manager, JIRA/Confluence, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Umbraco CMS. Involved a collaborative multi-team environment and dynamic workload involving many security & regulatory considerations.

North Sydney

UI/UX, HTML, CSS (Sass/Less/Bootstrap), Angular & other JavaScript using Eclipse, Illustrator, & JIRA. Sole designer on multiple versions of different software projects & integrated components for the travel industry, used by Flight Centre, Hello World, & more. Analysis, design, development, implementation & maintenance - full stack for the full lifespan of the client's relationship with their software.

Scoped, quoted and co-ordinated the design, coding, installation and testing of Business to Consumer websites. Each site securely records credit card details in a PCI DSS compliant method, and integrates with SAP Enterprise (via WebMethods middleware) to automate the collection of orders for pick/pack/dispatch. The role also involved periodic reskinning of the sites and introduction of new functionality where required, as well as day-to-day product catalogue maintenance.Sites were built for clients such as NRL (all teams), ARU, FFA (9 sites), Mitsubishi, IBM, HP, Starlight Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Black Dog Institute, Kenworth, Scouts Australia, William Inglis & Sons, VISY Closed Loop, BP, Komatsu and Citi.

Managing B2B integrations with both customers and suppliers by liaising with technical, sales and purchasing staff both internally and externally for Australia and New Zealand. Debugging connectivity with digital certificates, as well as troubleshooting XML and EDI documents )including cXML 1.2, xCBL 2 and 3. Organising both hosted and live catalogues for procurement systems such as SAP, ORACLE, ARIBA, GREAT PLAINS, PEOPLESOFT and more, using catalogue punchout via cXML, OCI and OBI.

Member of a fast-paced national internet helpdesk, managing inbound calls, emails (via the HP ServiceDesk client) and also online queries relating to five Corporate Express websites. Tasks ranged from basic training, creating/modifying usernames, helping customers find products and processing complaints, among others. Other duties include enhancing, designing, developing and testing changes to the sites, including HTML and Photoshop mock-ups. Assisted customers and their IT depts with access problems including firewall/proxy configurations, browser settings, and intranet authentication. Assisted B2B customers with configurations, troubleshooting and order tracking.
