I led the Commercial Marine Business sector for Frazer-Nash, where our highly-qualified engineers have been helping shipbuilders, designers, operators and equipment suppliers for over two decades. Our projects cover the whole spectrum of the shipping industry: from cruise ships, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, tankers and high speed craft, through to ports and maritime infrastructure.

Led a team of 14 Professional Engineering Project & Programme. Delivering projects and programmes within the Marine, Aerospace, Land and Nuclear sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities:Developing technical specifications and plans, placing and managing contracts;Overseeing delivery and contributing to safety, risk and financial management of RFA projects.Technical Responsibilities:Stability – Naval ship safety certification, conducting and overseeing inclining experiments, watertight integrity, maintenance of computer loading instruments and writing and reviewing Stability Information Books;Structures – Global ship strength, flight deck and dry docking strength;Escape, Evacuation and Rescue – Naval ship safety certification and SOLAS certification.Responsible for providing complete Naval Architecture support to for the operation of sixteen RFA ships;Trials Experience:Project managed and was conducting officer on RFA Black Rover’s incline experiment; Project managed and was the MoD’s trials officer in charge of safely undertaking the LSDA well dock trials.
