• Developed and deployed a web app using natural language processing and deep learning that performs real-time classification of misinformation in digital news media.• Built configurable training/testing data pipeline using DVC, implemented functionality tests using PyTest and Great Expectations, and trained multiple models using PyTorch, scikit-learn, and HuggingFace Transformers.• Deployed models using Python FastAPI server and Docker, built a Chrome extension with JavaScript and CSS to make calls to the REST API, and established a CI/CD pipeline with Github Actions to allow scalable development.

Advisor: Professor Jessica E. Rexach, M.D., Ph.D.• In prior work, my lab identified genes using bioinformatics approaches with which they would like to move forward for testing as candidate neuroinflammatory regulators of neurodegeneration. My work supports this by examining these genes in disease tissue to evaluate their cell type expression at the protein level and relationship to markers of disease pathology.• Developed statistical correlation/uncertainty models using SciPy for the co-expression and spatialorganization of biomarkers related to Alzheimer’s disease. Our group established a unique model which was published in a high-impact journal.
