I began my Audio Preservation journey at Crawford Media Services, where I digitized legacy media, including the skills I learned along the way, such as remediating physical damage, splicing tape, removing pops & clicks, identifying polarity issues, print-through and other audio anomalies & performed complete documentation of condition, treatment, playback & delivery.Relevant Skills:• Knowledge & experience of audio production workflows including professional music environments, audio post-production environments for television & film, as well as consumer habits & workflows.• Knowledge & experience with legacy analog & digital playback equipment, including professional, prosumer, consumer & vintage equipment; their proper usage, calibration, maintenance and care.Ability to apply knowledge of integrated systems, applications, and other information technologies related to audio preservation to analyze technical and operational problems and develop solutions.• Experience with complex audio metadata capture, investigation & manipulation for a variety of preservation and access deliverables, including BWF, Mp3, M4a, FLAC and more, using various tools including MediaInfo, BWF MetaEdit or native DAW software.• Advanced knowledge of the principles & concepts of audio routing, recording and delivery• Experienced with audio capture & editing using Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms, including Merging Technologies Pyramix, Avid Pro Tools, Steinberg Wavelab, Adobe Audition, Cockos Reaper & Audacity• Experienced with multi-room, AoIP-based integrated technologies such as AES67, RAVENNA, & Dante networked systems.

I had the absolute honor to work alongside producers Rodney Mills & Mike Clark (both GA Music Hall of Fame award recipients themselves) as well as the extraordinary Thom 'T.K.' Kidd & Greg 'Fern' Quesnell, to mix Front Of House sound for our annual music awards show.We worked with multiple public broadcasting stations and media trucks to mix the live television broadcast for a regional viewership of over 2 million people each year. I began my career performing audio sweetening, sound design, ADR & voiceover work for clients such as Turner Broadcasting, CNN, TNT, TBS, ESPN & Cartoon Network.
