I was born in Bristol, moving to Weston-Super-Mare when I was 10, then Bournemouth when I was 20 to start my marketing degree. I love keeping myself up-to-date with anything modern/current, whether that be technologies, trends, or anything relevant in society. Now that I've graduated, I'm looking to start my career in the marketing and advertising industry. I have previous placement experience in advertising, which taught me vital skills about working in a fast-paced and changing environment (such as the importance of coffee on the job), of which I plan to use in future employment. This experience allowed me to realise my interests in branding, strategy and social marketing, which has further been influenced by participating in the 2021-2022 edcom, Ad Venture competition, after focusing heavily on these aspects of the campaign concept. With this experience of university and placement, I'm very used to (and happy!) interacting with people from all walks of life. I love being able to work in a team towards a common goal, but I'm also happy working independently on solo tasks. I very much take a pro-active, not reactive response towards to my work, ensuring that I'm prepared for as many outcomes as possible - although I've learnt that the industry loves throwing you a curveball every now and then! I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my professional life, wherever it takes me.
