A degree in accounting and finance and a true passion for start-up businesses. I opened my first business, The Malt Room, in 2017 at the age of 25. The business has flourished and expanded over the years and the success has been kindly recognised by industry peers. The Malt Room won "Scotland's Best Whisky Bar" in 2021 and I've personally been awarded "Whisky Guru of the Year" and "Scotland's Emerging Entrepreneur". In 2018 we opened a specialist cafe "Perk Coffee & Doughnuts" that has been run successfully for the last 5 years. It was awarded the "Best Independent Cafe" in the Scottish Highlands.2022 was the first steps into the off-sales market through our beer shop "Moonshine" and this was quickly followed in 2023 by our whisky shop "Inverness Whisky". Both are prospering in their early stages. 2024 I am managing new venture in The Cayman Islands. We are opening the first specialist whisky bar on the island that will be called "Cask".
