I am a Coordinator at Anglicare Southern Queensland, where support teams to provide foster and kinship care services to children and young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. I have a bachelor's degree in paramedic science from QUT, and I am passionate about helping vulnerable and disadvantaged children. My core competencies include organizational leadership, team building, and time management.Before joining Anglicare, I was a therapeutic practice manager and a quality and systems manager at Safe Places for Children, where I supervised two teams across the Brisbane and North Coast regions and ensured best-practice standards and compliance in the delivery of trauma-informed care. I am also a therapeutic crisis intervention associate trainer and have a post-crisis response qualification. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from my paramedic background and my involvement with surf life saving Queensland. I am eager to collaborate with and learn from other practitioners and professionals in the community services field.
