• Awarded Best Pandemic Response (Partnership) by Downtown Colorado, Inc. for COVID-19 recovery efforts in 2020. Efforts included the distribution of $400,000 in grant funding, an extensive outdoor dining program, and weekly calls with community partners to facilitate other relief programs and downtown activations. • Served as the staff representative for a community workshop and planning session through the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (RERC) technical assistance program, offered through a partnership between the USDA, US EPA, and northern Border Regional Commission. This process brought together over 20 members of the community to identify and strategize for six overarching goals to supplement the rural economy of Glenwood Springs.• Secured grant funding for and executed an extensive winter relief program for local businesses, to include outdoor dining areas in public spaces, lending of heating equipment to businesses, and the distribution of over $120,000 in grant funding.• Historic Preservation staff representative. I serve as the liaison for the City Historic Preservation Commission and manage all historic documents belonging to the City.

As a student orientation coordinator, I am part of a team that plans and organizes orientation sessions for incoming students during the summer as well as events during the first week of classes. My team is also responsible for managing a group of 30 students who are leading the new students through orientation. As Peer Minister for Justice, I serve as the primary resource for all things justice-related on campus.I am responsible for hosting a monthly speaker series called The Gray Area, which focuses on a particular issue of social justice and delves into the issues on either side that make it a controversial matter. The event is open to the entire campus community and seeks to engage discussion, not necessarily find common ground.I also have started a new social justice student group on campus where students can engage in issues that matter to them by choosing an issue, learning more about it, spreading awareness across campus, and engaging in action to change it within the community.Finally, I organize a weekly Lenten lunch series in which guest speakers share their stories of faith and ministry with students. This year, I have exclusively arranged to host the Brothers of Holy Cross as guest speakers. This event was also recognized by the Blue & Gold committee as an exemplary program for the values of service and sacrifice on the St. Ed's campus. On top of the responsibilities listed above, I have also organized a World Day of Social Justice Fair, and a documentary screening on G-Dog, the story of Homeboy Industries.

As an Intern for Education at The Miracle Foundation, I developed a curriculum model based on Sugata Mitra's S.O.L.E. Method (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpcEpmNbHds) for a children's home in India.I also streamlined the application process for a new TMF Scholarship for orphans wishing to attend college or technical school. As a result, TMF was able to send one of their orphans to school for the very first time.
