I believe that doing work I am passionate about, consistently striving to develop and grow, having a positive mindset and a strong work ethic, have all been the foundations for the success I have had in my jobs so far. I am currently on a 2 year work visa in Canada gaining life experience and skills in a variety of different ways. My most valuable experience I have gained was from my full time position as a Duty Manager at Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing. The private health club has around 3000 members and over 30 staff members, there was a large variety of daily responsibilities and challenges that came with managing the day to day operations. Below are some responsibilities that were included to give you an idea of what I believe is my most rewarding experience: - ManagingStaff performance, daily responsibilities and tasks, developing/training.- Admin Sales, membership enquiries, membership retention, cancellations, freezes, social media admin, daily banking and cash handling and running transaction log reports, key holder for the building. - Health and SafetyHealth and safety checks, planning and leading full team meetings, coordinating all types emergency evacuations, first response first aider, leading the monthly cardiac drill training, risk assessing and logging. - OtherBarista, reception/front of house and lifeguard duties when giving staff their breaks and covering shifts, cleaning and basic maintenance tasks. - Pool Plant RoomMaintenance of the Swimming Pool and Hydrotherapy Pool, backwashing, regular chlorine and PH tests, regular steam room and sauna temperature checks.
