I provided onsite and remote support to multiple sites across southern Minnesota and Iowa for hardware with point-of-sale, network and security systems (burglar/surveillance/controlled access).Additionally, I was an occasional project manager for new stores. Head of support operations for fleet maintenance where my departments (I had two people working with me) primary function was servicing tires and batteries.Additionally, I was responsible for daily inventory counts: tires, batteries and various fluids held in bulk tanks that fed into the mechanical bays by way of overhead pipes into reels.Another responsibility that I held was freight operations that handled incoming/outgoing freight using forklifts. For several years, I trained and certified most of the people in the facility. When U-Haul started their U-Box program (similar to Pods), I trained and certified every general manager (about 20) in the state at that time.Lastly, my department regularly ordered parts and supplies through various vendors as well as an internal ordering system.
