Delivery Architect for a Sharepoint Web Content Management project in GM. Staff Augmentation role acting as a GM Identity Management Architect. In the role, I worked directly with the GM customer providing guidance and defining strategic initiatives. Key contributions includedDefining a common LDAP Directory schema and application onboarding processes. Lead role in migrating 100s of application from Sun Directory 4.1 to Sun Directory 5.2.Architecting the employee/contractor LDAP onboarding application based on feeds from multiple global HR systems. Defining multiple Identity Management initiatives and gaining concurrence from multiple levels of GM through presentations and architecture designs. Example initiaitves were1) Common User ID throughout the enterprise2) Develop a single source for application access management provisioning and attestation.

Primary role was as a technical lead/Java developer on projects for General Motors. Project details as follows:Self Service GM Retirement applications such as View Paycheck, Manage Addresses and a web based Retirement Projector. A key component of the web interfaces was integrating with the backend mainframe systems.Led the development of Java applications such as the GM Directory Administration system and the GM People Finder application.Key team member for the GM Organization Management application. Skills included spefic Oblix product, XSLT and XML.Technical Lead for the GM Identifier Service application, which was a Web Service that provided GM Identifiers for LDAP Onboarding systems. Key skills - Architecture/Design, Java, Web Services, BEA Weblogic, XML, Rational Rose Object Modeling and Data Modeling.

Started career as a mainframe programmer. Skills included Cobol, Easytrieve, PL1, CICS, IMS and DB2.1997 - 1998 was technical leader on a Smalltalk, thick client application that communicated with an IMS Cobol application to calculate supplemental retirement benefits.Application development related to TImekeeping and Retirement Benefit systems.
