I've been in the R/E game one way or another since 1999. Owned a Mortgage Co. in La Plata for 5 years then jumped into Real Estate ( what was I thinking ) Worked under J. Kirby Hall for a few years. Kirby was one of the chairs for the Ethics/Arbitration committee for PGCAR; needless to say it was fun learning under him, retired Army to boot. He was a fair fella and all in all was a great way to learn what not to do! From there I went to Keller Williams, where I went from getting a lead or two a week to getting 100 a week, what a trial by fire that was. Learned a lot in a very short time with the volume running through the door. Picked up some wonderful investors’, the market began to slow and so did my business. Picked up shop and went to Re/Max100 where I currently am, LOVE it here! Wonderful supportive people more classes than I care to take but if I want to I can. I've been "flipping" homes for about 5 years with my investors and it has been the best teacher to me, far above any class or designation you could get. I can walk into a house and tell you within 2 minutes what the rehab dollars will be and be within a 3k margin +/-, usually. Goals are simple, be the best I can be, I love what I do plain and simple.
