Matt currently serves as Deputy Director of IREX's Information & Media practice. He also oversees the Beyond Access project, an initiative funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, focused on creating and sustaining modern community learning and information hubs so that more people have access to the information they need to improve their lives. Previously, Matt managed technology, access to information, and education projects in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities also include financial monitoring and consultant tracking.

Provide DC-based program management support for civil society development projects in Eastern Europe. Major responsibilities include writing reports, creating communications and advocacy publications, financial monitoring, workplanning support. Responsible for drafting contracts and subgrants and track all program contracts (consulting agreements, contracts, and subgrants).
