Life is busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Having operated excavators since before I could walk, I was destined to be involved with groundworks. Now over 15 years since starting working in the industry I am passionate in not only the work on site but the health and safety aspects that have improved so much since our business started in 1986. Alongside this my wife and I run an alpaca breeding business that focuses on producing high quality black alpacas to meet the demand in the fibre industry. Above all else my family are the most important thing in my life, nothing prepares you for the deep love that comes with having children, and with 2 of them my heart is certainly full. The secret to happiness is doing what you love and the secret to success is loving what you do! I am excited for the future to see my children get more involved with both businesses and hope they share the same love I do… they are both obsessed with diggers and tractors so it’s looking positive!
