My professional experience has centered on developing teams and running projects. Afterfinishing a Bachelor degree at Griffith University in Queensland, I initially focused on youthwork and event management. Working with young people has shaped my skills and desire to see people grow and reach their potential.In 2006, I chose to shift my focus to training and team development. I began working withVITAL Projex, a training organisation that provides advanced facilitation training to youthworkers and works with ‘at risk’ young people through school based programs. In this role, Ialso identified a demand for team development and organisational consulting services.From June 2007 – January 2008 I took six months leave from VITAL Projex to work ininternational development with a United Nations Development Program in Kathmandu, Nepal.This time has profoundly affected my world view and given me a deep insight into working in across cultural environment.During my time with VITAL Projex, it became clear to me there was a need in the business andnot for profit community for the skills that I had developed. In response to this, Elissa and I formed InterfuseGroup. Interfuse Group provided the vehicle for me to work with clients in myareas of interest, which are, project management, personal and professional coaching,organisational consulting, change management, leadership and team development.I was offered the opportunity to work with Westpac, which was a fantastic time of learning and professional development. In early 2010 I was given a further opportunity to work in a regional capacity with Westpac.Since moving on from Westpac in mid 2011, I've enjoying being back in our business Interfuse Group. This was also when I ventured into the property and construction industries. As a property investor for 15 years, I had always had a passion for property and embraced the opportunity to move into the sector. As a natural progression, property development became an area of interest and in 2018 we started our new property development business 3 Bays Projects.At 3 Bays Projects, our focus is boutique land and built form projects across South East Queensland. We also offer project management services for interstate firms that need a local presence for their development. The strength of the business is built of the broad range of partners and specialists we are able to draw on. to get the best results for our projects and for our clients.
