Current focus on managing key regulatory programs within the region, including the CHESS Replacement Project (Australia) and the introduction of an Uncertificated Securities Market (Hong Kong).

• On a national basis, maintain, review and improving all processes, systems and products in the corporate action department so that Computershare values are upheld. Specifically:- ‘Certainty’ (minimising risk through standardisation and review);- ‘Ingenuity’ (developing smarter/efficient systems and procedures), and;- ‘Advantage’ (creating competitive advantage through facilitating new corporate action products).• Utilising project management methodology when developing and implementing longer term projects for the benefit of the Corporate Action department, including- Project Set Up (requirement gathering, costing);- Planning (project scoping and logistical set ups);- Monitoring (internal reporting, quality assurance, timelines, performance);- Execution (implementation of project), and;- Close (wrap up and implementation as a ‘standard’ procedure, review and improve). • Representing the Corporate Actions department when other internal projects are deemed to have an impact on our department and providing feedback and commentary as required. Communicating to the Corporate Actions team the outcomes and impacts of these projects.• Providing feedback, advice and support to the Corporate Actions department, management and other internal and external stakeholders as required (including input on client facing projects).

• Project managing a variety of client facing corporate action campaigns. Typical examples include:- Capital Raisings (IPOs, rights issues, share purchase plans etc);- Mergers and Acquisitions (takeovers, schemes etc), and- Capital Management Programs (sale facilities, buybacks, option conversions etc)• Working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure a successful project outcome, including:- Internal (CIS, CPM, CCS, CTS and Ops stakeholders), and;- External (clients, investment banks, legal firms, 3rd party service providers, CHESS and the ASX).• Implementing project management methodology, such as:- Project Set Up (requirement scoping, costing and quoting);- Planning (Internal scoping and logistical set ups);- Monitoring (internal/external reporting, quality assurance; staff performance);- Execution (implementation of corporate action on register, despatch of documentation), and;- Close (hand over to BAU, debrief). • Team management in relation to both corporate action specific and general performance:- Up to 3 permanent direct reports;- Often many more temp staff depending on project requirements.
