This required the use of relatively low cost building materials to create bespoke design solutions. Confidential Corporate HQ c. 2018Confidential Client - Los Angeles, CA- Acoustic Consultant for a new 500,000ft2 corporate headquarter building in Los Angeles. Adaptive reuse of a large existing facility and the design of new office and amenity spaces. - Developed methods for acoustic modelling to reduce noise transfer between open plan areas using conference rooms and other enclosed spaces in the main space to create focused open plan workspace. Sevenoaks School Performing Arts Center c. 2005Sevenoaks School - Kent, UK- Acoustic design of auditorium and music practice facilities including 500 seat concert hall, refurbished drama theatre and rehearsal facilities. - Designed optimized, tuned natural ventilation paths to allow mixed mode ventilation to be used throughout the buildings, including the concert hall whilst maintaining a practical level of sound isolation from external noise.

Key Skills/Responsibilities- Completed PhD research into the active control of buzz-saw tones with both theoretical and experimental components.- Attended and presented research to industrial partners at EU project meetings.Taught on the ISVR undergraduate acoustics course.Projects- Worked as a research scientist for EU funded SILENCE(R) project work package to determine the feasibility of active control system systems for the control of buzz-saw tones in turbofan engines.- Successfully demonstrated active noise control techniques on a laboratory scale test rig, the theory investigated was also implemented on a full scale engine set up with the help of European partners.
