We invested heavily in continuing to expand our knowledge base, and in doing so shifted the practice more to business advisory, tax, self-managed super funds, and wealth management, rather than simply crunching numbers. As the business grew, we opened a second office in Canowindra and in 2019 merged CKC Accountants with Mike Crowley & Associates, scaling our resources and capabilities to deliver what local people need of us in the years ahead. Worked with Andrew Miller in this local accounting and business advisory firm. Advised high net worth individuals and family businesses on achievement of financial goals and imperatives.

With a knack for people and numbers was promoted into this role, having commenced originally as machine operator. As Employee Relations Officer had oversight of payroll and all the conditions and awards of the 300 employees. When the local site closed I had the difficult position of communicating the news to everyone - witnessing the impact to the local community re-affirmed for me the importance of planning for the future.

Contract (fixed term) role preparing individual, small business and partnership taxation returns as well as BAS preparation.

Progressed to Personnel and Payroll Officer, from being the Production Manager overseeing 150 people. While here studied started studying towards a Diploma Australian Taxation Law.
