After steady growth through the America's in 2021, including the creation of both IoT Automation Chile, and IoT Automation USA, I will be representing the company as the General Manager of IoT Automation USA. Our core solution is our FireFly smart lighting system, a game changing technology utilizing multicolored LED lighting modules that are IoT enabled through their wireless interfaces. The lighting modules are strung out over thousands of feet and are fed power and communications from the FireFly controller. Each controller covers about 7,200ft (2.2km) of mine or tunnel project drifts. Controllers and FireFly modules form mine wide networks that can be used for visual notifications, emergency alerts, sensor alerts, and asset tracking. Real Time Situational Awareness for underground mines and tunnels through the deployment of the IoT equipped Firefly Smart Lighting system. The Firefly solution immediately benefits underground work environments by bringing instant visual and audio notifications to workers of events that impact their operations. Seismic activity, Gas detected, Fire, Independent Blasting, or Emergencies etc can all be actioned real time through automatic activation of the Firefly lighting system to immediately notify the workforce. In early 2018 I launched a Colorado based business to be ready to accept contract work for businesses in Australia in the Mining Technology field to help them get set up in the USA through provision of Sales Consultancy, setting up business address and presence etc. Vice versa I can offer the same for similar US based businesses wanting to generate and grow in the Australian market.

Responsibility for the MST business growth in the non coal mining (and other industry) business throughout all of the USA. I have a focus on deploying our solutions into a customer base of underground mines and (other industries suited to our solution), delivering greater safety and productivity through visualization of the mining operations through our technologies such as Leaky Feeder (two way radio), Fiber and Wi-Fi based networks, and legacy MST products that have been around for 25 years, such as our through the earth PED solution. MST products have been used in more that 500 mines globally, and we have great pride in delivering customer success stories. Based out of Denver Colorado, though most likely being found on a customer site, I am a focused and down to earth professional who is driven to succeed, and thrives in the success of my customers. I take great pride in making my clients look good in front of their peers!

Making a move to the USA team at MST Global (Mine Site Technologies). I am based out of Denver Colorado and have the responsibility of building our business throughout western USA. My focus will be on expanding customer knowledge and acceptance of MST products and services, delivering new business opportunities with a focus on Underground Mines in the region, and working with our partners to improve our market visibility. In addition to this role at work I am looking forward to enjoying a change of scenery with my family and enjoying all that the USA has to offer. I will be attempting to still play AFL with the mighty Denver Bulldogs (Div 4 for me!), Basketball and Golf as long as my body can keep me going.

Mainly a name change as we have made some changes company wide as we grow. I have picked up APAC account ownership of some key accounts and I am enjoying the personal growth this responsibilty provides.During this year I plan to continue to grow our business through exceptional service to our clients, working effectively with my peers, and continuing to assist our other regions including USA and Africa as management sees fit.I also plan to drop some kg's and enjoy my love of Golf, BBall and AFL through actively making time for myself whilst ensuring my family and friends also have my full attention as required.One great thing about my job in sales is that a lot of my friends are either clients or workmates - so by being at work i get the best of both worlds!

When I left the Army I took up a position under a logistics contract that HK Shipping and Logistics were awarded to support the AFP deployment to Bougainville PNG. My responsibilities whilst working on this contract was management of all IT and Communications Infrastructure accross the AFP sites in Buka, Arawa and Other Locations as required. I also managed the Helicopter service and hire.
