I joined the Science and Technologies Facilities Council for my industrial placement year between my third and fourth year of study at the University of Leeds. I was employed by the Scientific Software Group which is a part of the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source Science Facility at Rutherford Appleton Laboratories (RAL). I developed the Mantid software.

Working with Dr Nick Efford to develop teaching resources for use in the level 3 module Secure Computing. This included developing worksheets and demonstrations for students explaining different software vulnerabilities including SQL injection and Cross-Site Scripting. The worksheets are created with Sphinx and use external resources for some teaching.
