My role as Vice President is to bring my 23 years of nonprofit knowledge to help develop and grow GaitWay into an organization that will help transform the lives for teen girls and young women across the county. My background in technology and marketing will help with essential needs that any non-profit and business will face in 2024.

The purpose of 2911Prosperity is to help churches, nonprofits, and charities embrace and understand how modern technology can further their missions. Technology such as websites, marketing, mass communications, videos, photos, and user reviews all play an important role connecting people to the organization. Well…It’s simply this…. That nothing else that mankind has created has brought more joy and people together than music. From TV shows that draw in millions of viewers and local concerts that thousands attend, to garage bands and just a couple friends sitting around jamming music. Music spans all cultures, races, ages, prejudices and unites people together. And when that music Glorifies God, an UnContained JOY is released that begins to change everyone who is around it.UCJOY is nonprofit Christian Youth Music Ministry that provides young persons the ability to learn, play and perform Christian Music. As bands, we perform local concerts, while working and performing with professional musicians who inspire us. The message of love is revealed through our praise and worship music, and we share that love through UnContained JOY living in each of us. Our ministry outreach is to provide a music education through scholarships to the less fortunate. We hope kids can experience the joy that music and God can bring to their lives.

Volunteering as President of Help E-Cycle, a nonprofit founded by three young men who have an interest in technology, want to help the environment, and give back to the community. E-cycling (aka recycling old computer/electronic/network equipment) allows businesses and individuals a way to get rid of their old equipment and help the community at the same time. My goal is to help mentor and guide these young men in their first business venture that not only educates them, but the community as well. Responsible for daily operations of a 10 million dollar data center, colocation and cloud solutions. Leading a team of engineers that managed and maintained redundant enterprise class Cisco networking technology, clustered Dell VMWare HA solutions, and Microsoft Virtualization and management. Included are over 150 different colocation customers in the form of dedicated cabinets, cages or a hybrid solution with our cloud services that included hosted email, mobile computing, email encryption, websites, and custom Microsoft solutions. Responsible for the scope and planning of large projects which included the architecture design, implementation and operations of:• Cisco’s newest Data Center Class Firewalls, core switches and routers• EMC VNX SAN’s, total of 120TB, replicated between data centers• Upgrading Hosted Cloud services to 10G redundant FCOE connections• MS Exchange 2010 On-Premise (SaaS), converted from Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010 Multi-Tenant• Creation and Maintenance of private MPLS, metro Ethernet and data center class network transport (IaaS) Other responsibilities include the use of business intelligence for weekly capacity, performance analytics and improvement recommendations to the executive team. I am accountable for managing outside consultants, service providers and vendors while establishing partnerships based upon cost and level of service. I manage and work with Datotel customer service department, second level support, and engineers to deliver quality service and solutions based upon SLA’s and customer requirements. Closely work with Datotel Sales, Account Managers, and Implementation teams, offering engineering design and guidance for new projects and solutions. I was key player in obtaining SSAE16 SOC1 and presently SSAE16 SOC 2 data center certification. Currently leading a team to develop new services at the Data Center level to provide customers with a secure compliant environment for private cloud based solutions.

Responsible for network design and implementation of a new Catholic Charities Network from the ground up. Large projects included: • switching from Lotus Notes mail system, • implementation of a federation wide domain structure• File and Print Servers, DHCP and DNS. Over a couple of years the network grew to include 600+ users, over 35 sites, 32 Servers, and a wide range of applications. With multiple power outages and no permanent location for our data center, we decided to move all of our primary servers to Datotel Collocation. I was a responsible for the team that moved the Catholic Charities Data Center to Datotel and the centralization of the network. Ongoing responsibilities included procurement of new servers and technology, implementation and maintenance of database applications, backups, disaster recovery, and network health. During the 2010 year I switched the entire organization over to Cloud based backup system, allowing real time offsite backup solution. In Spring/Summer of 2010 I rolled out Exchange 2007 migration project, in which all 600 users were moved over to a new exchange environment. Project was successful and included no downtime and minimal hours of the support staff in visiting remote client sites.

Owned and operated consulting firm that offered technology solutions to small and medium sized businesses. This included network design and engineering, proactive monitoring and maintenance, and application development. Included were complete lifecycle projects for applications to meet customer business needs. Software developed included custom database solutions and applications used in daily business operations. Company had many engagements to develop custom public facing websites, search engine optimization and marketing solutions. As owner I was responsible for all customer facing sales and interaction. Where appropriate I would engage consultants to meet project or customer requirements. Business key points: • Designed and implement many multi-site locations using many different technologies offered for connectivity.• Proactive monitoring and maintenance of networks.• Customers included wholesale, retail, service providers, and non-profits utilizing a wide range of technology.• Design and programming of customer web based solutions using MS SQL database and web technology. • One on One customer business development and sales opportunities.

Manager of a three person data conversion team whose primary responsibility was to convert data from different proprietary system into the Sendouts Database. I personally developed Visual Basic Scripts and SQL Stored Procedures that could be easily modified to import data from a wide variety of systems. Responsible for customer supportive relationships for over a 1000 clients for both Technical support and Data Conversion. In conjunction with another DBA, I played an integral part in the development of the Sendouts Database. The database consisted of over 150 tables and 500 Stored procedures. These tables and procedures were integrated with both Visual Basic code and Active Server Pages. The database was highly normalized with complete referential integrity throughout it. Accountable for the backup and maintenance of the database, which contained over 15 million records and having the ability to restore the database to within the last 15 minutes.

I was one of three Senior Administrators responsible for the Planning / Development / Implementation / and Support for over 50 NT Servers around the U.S. that were used by over 2500 employees. Direct responsibilities included installation and configuration of 4 high-end Dell serves that contained a total of 16 processors, 4GB of RAM and a Terabyte of Data Storage. Using Microsoft Clustering I configured the servers to be completely fault tolerant in the event of a server failure. The servers were to house a new medical system using clustered MS SQL Server 7.0 that would be used for patient tracking and diagnosis along with a complete insurance claims system. In July I was promoted to SQL DBA. In this position I was responsible for all SQL databases for the Group Insurance Department, which consisted of 3 SQL 7.0 and 2 SQL 6.5 Databases. Other DBA responsibilities included the upgrade and maintenance of an optical system that was used to store scanned insurance claims. The system consisted of MS SQL Server and a HP Optical Juke Box that contained over 10 million insurance claims. This system was available 24/7 for over 700 claims personnel. I lead a pilot program that did a proof of concept for migrating 1500 Lotus Notes user to Microsoft Exchange Server with MS Outlook as the user email package. Over a four-day period, I successfully installed MS Exchange, setup the connectors to the Lotus Domino Server and the Internet, and migrated a pilot group of 20 IT support personnel over to the exchange server. However, due to a company buyout, the project was put on hold for an indefinite amount of time.

Responsible for the design and implementation of a Windows NT network. This included designing a Fiber Optic backbone, Networking hardware, and Servers that would provide the basis for the network. Accountable for the installation and setup of all 5 ASF locations. This included Windows NT 4.0, MS Exchange Server, MS Server components, and integration with Unix Mail and File System. Responsible for the management of all 5 locations and the coordination and direction of local IT support staff. I worked with the shop floor level to convert paper data collection into electronic data collection. My Job responsibilities here include designing a new database system that can be used to track products, Work in Progress and statistical reports using custom programmed electronic handheld data collection devices.
