During my internship with the innovative Member Services team, I played a key role in supporting a remarkable 150% membership growth this season. My responsibilities included assisting with general operations and managing various projects. I traveled to 25 golf clubs and facilities across Massachusetts to execute a diverse range of high-end events, and I had the opportunity to support a week-long New England Golf Association Amateur event at Samoset Resort in Rockport, ME. Through this experience, I enhanced my proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, gained foundational skills in Golf Genius software, and became deeply involved in team match administration, player support, and course ratings.

At Dave McGillivray Sports Enterprises, a full-service event management organization, I contributed to the Boston Marathon infrastructure setup in 2022 and 2023. My primary focus was enhancing the runner experience by implementing town-indicating flag stations at eight locations along the 26.2-mile route. I collaborated with a diverse team to ensure the success of the event and gained valuable insights into smooth event operations.In addition, I coordinated post-race cleanup, efficiently dismantling flag stations within three hours of course closure. Driving along the course after the runners, ensuring the area was cleared and safe for all participants. This experience deepened my understanding of event logistics and the importance of maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.

During my time at Phillips Academy Andover, I successfully recruited and trained 25 high and middle school students to serve as scorekeepers at the ice hockey rink. I guided new scorekeepers in software utilization until they were confident in handling gameday tasks independently. Additionally, I managed weekly scheduling for scorekeepers for upcoming youth games and stepped in to perform scorekeeping duties when necessary. I reported weekend game scores on the company website and scanned game sheets using an iPhone app. Furthermore, I assisted in event operations by setting up dividing boards across center ice to prepare for mite-level games, ensuring a smooth experience for players and spectators alike.
