I joined Stripe as the Cloud Security team was forming from the larger Security Infrastructure team. As the team's first engineering manager, I was responsible for defining the team charter, quickly growing the team through recruiting external candidates and supporting internal transfers, and developing our roadmap covering near-term tactical work and long-term strategic foundational projects.

After joining Aqua Security as part of the acquisition of CloudSploit, the company I co-founded, I led Aqua's CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) engineering team and Aqua's expansion to SaaS cloud security products. CloudSploit is an open source cloud security solution that audits AWS, Azure, and GCP infrastructure for security threats, misconfigurations, and real-time security activity.As the technical co-founder, I was responsible for the original open source codebase, development of the SaaS product (backend, APIs, database, UI, etc.), and expansion of our core engineering team. Together with my co-founder, we grew CloudSploit from side project to a full-featured, enterprise B2B SaaS application with thousands of users. In November of 2019, CloudSploit was acquired by Aqua Security.

As an Engineering Manager on the Adobe Platform team, I lead a group of engineers focused on the infrastructure and security requirements of large-scale, distributed, container-based workloads.

As an engineer on the Adobe Platform team, I work with cutting-edge technologies including Docker, CoreOS, Mesos, and Marathon to build large-scale containerization platforms for the Adobe ecosystem. I work with a globally distributed team to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, cloud-based platforms for the hosting of applications from teams throughout the company.

After joining Adobe from the Aviary acquisition, I worked to integrate Aviary's network, applications, and cloud environments into Adobe's. During this time, I built and maintained the infrastructure environment surrounding our products and hosted platforms. As a Developer Operations and Server Engineer on the Backend Server team at Aviary, my day-to-day responsibilities included developing tools to monitor Aviary's infrastructure and applications, responding to service alerts, developing backend projects, automating deployments of projects, and working with cloud services (mainly AWS, but also Azure).Focus areas: AWS, cloud, security, server developer, APIs, DevOps

I worked with several teams during my internship to produce internal tools and products for use by developers and the business team. One such tool was a system monitoring application that utilized Microsoft Azure APIs and additional performance checks to ensure system uptime. Additionally, I worked with the server side developers to rewrite the content delivery system used by the mobile and web applications. I provided security assistance during the application's development and also worked with developers to mitigate any existing security vulnerabilities.Focus areas: DevOps, security, Azure, cloud, SRE, full-stack

As an intern on the security assurance team, I was responsible for responding to reported security issues in Mozilla's web properties, locating and working with developers to fix them, and ensuring that the proper fix was made. I also performed security reviews of various internal and external projects to ensure they met security standards and did not contain vulnerabilities that could compromise user data or the site itself. I worked closely with the security community and security researchers reporting vulnerabilities to Mozilla's bug bounty program.

Internship at AAI as an information security analyst. My duties included: security auditing, creation of an intrusion detection and early-warning system, re-writing of project manager workflow process to incorporate security requirements, masking of sensitive, export controlled data in Oracle databases, creation of a company-wide discussion forum for interaction with IT, and several other projects.
