As the Learning Experience Lead for Engineering at Credit Karma, I am THE point person for all matters Training and Education. The role of "Lead" represents a maturation of the Learning Experience roles held previously and focuses on Department-wide efforts to identify knowledge gaps (and strategy dev on filling them), course creation and management, onboarding and technical configurations for new engineers, code and deployment best practice trainings and workshops, Lunch and Learn event production (inclusive of video capture / edit / posting) and consulting with spin-up groups for fast and highly iterative training needs.

The Engineering Education team is responsible for the creation, administration and delivery of several internal training programs. These include technical workshops, social learning events, new hire onboarding, deep-dive Bootcamps (1 week), Engineering Management training, Train-the-Trainer programs and more.I am responsible for content creation, quality control of content, course organization and administration of all programs with specific domain expertise in Train the Trainer and Engineering Manager training. Currently, my team is deploying multiple week-long Bootcamp training sessions around the entirety of CK's tech stack while implementing new metric-based measurements of these sessions.This continues my work across the spectrum of Training - start-to-finish program creation and administration inclusive of success metrics, mixed-media management, course iteration and "education as an art", which is where my true passion lies.
