I started in the live events industry over 9 years ago while studying at SSR in Manchester. Just after finishing my studies here I started freelancing for Donut Sound in Cheshire. I mainly worked with wedding bands, rock and roll weekends and high profile corporate events.Since then I have moved back to the North East and have started freelancing for Local PA companies, working on small scale touring theatre and festivals. I have also begun freelancing at various local venues such as Stockton Globe and Durham Gala. Recently I have gained experience in larger scale events such as working at Tramlines Festival and as PSE no2 on Strictly Ballroom the Musical. While I enjoy working as FoH and Monitor tech, I have started to focus more on building and flying PA systems and hope to continue my learning in this area in the near future. I aim to gain more experience with this and specialise in system design and deployment in the future.
