I am a Ph.D. in Communication and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. I have worked at the laboratory since 2019, starting as a Graduate Technical Intern in Energy and Water Systems Integration, and later joined Machine Intelligence and Visualization as a Postdoctoral Appointee before converting to staff researcher in 2022.Among other work, I have led the development and testing of a new network layout algorithm and analytic measure for testing communicative vibration theory and the prediction of social group stability, established a natural language processing pipeline incorporating multiple methods, and designed and validated agent-based models of disinformation flow. In addition to this work, I have conducted research which includes game theoretic network experiments and psychophysiological measures. This work has been presented at numerous project funding meetings, symposia, and scientific conferences.My technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Bash, Groovy, Javascript, Rust, HTML, CSS, and LATEX, in addition to machine learning approaches, data analytic methods, simulation software, and high-performance computing environments.I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in Communication from Ohio State University, where I was a member of the Communication and Cognitive Systems Lab. My Bachelor's degree is also in Communication from the University of Missouri - Columbia. I have published numerous peer-reviewed articles in top communication, psychology, sociology, and general scientific journals.
