In order to accomplish our mission, LUNGevity funds the most promising research into the early detection and successful treatment of lung cancer. LUNGevity also supports the largest national grassroots lung cancer network, as well as the largest online support community for those affected by lung cancer.

As a LIVESTRONG volunteer, I work throughout our region to provide services to anyone affected by cancer. Through the LIVESTRONG Leader program, we engage individuals across the globe who are passionate about and committed to making cancer a priority in their own community. LIVESTRONG Leaders are vital to the success of LIVESTRONG by acting as official LIVESTRONG representatives within their communities, raising awareness and educating others about our programs and services, recruiting and engaging others in the LIVESTRONG movement, fundraising and demanding change of elected officials at the local, national and global level.
