I am the Founder and Executive Director of CEMG Consulting & Research, a firm that provides strategic guidance and solutions to clients in the public and private sectors who seek to advance clean energy and climate goals in the U.S. and globally. With over 10 years of experience in science, technology, and energy policy, I lead a team of experts in energy education and workforce development, energy jobs data, and energy economic development. Previously, I served as a Senior Strategist and Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, where I contributed to the creation and implementation of the Jobs Strategy Council, a cross-cutting initiative that aimed to accelerate the growth and access of jobs in the energy sector. I also coordinated and led projects on energy education, such as the Energy 101 project, which supported the fundamentals of energy education at the post-secondary level and also supported sustainable development goals for the climate education at COP21. I have multiple publications and honors in the fields of energy policy and cell biology, and I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am passionate about bridging the gap between science and policy, and empowering the next generation of energy leaders and innovators.
