I am the Field Force Automation Support Coordinator for Energex. Energex is a subsidiary of Energy Queensland Limited, we build, operate and maintain the electricity distribution network in the growing region of South East Queensland. In this role I assist in leading the company’s field mobility and dispatch systems, overseeing approx. 800 end users and managing stakeholder interactions. We pride ourselves in delivering technology solutions using existing system functionality to its fullest, and analysing upgraded functionality through software upgrades. Recently I have delivered two business critical projects in;- Workforce Optimisation (Auto Dispatch) which provided effecencies in dispatching and grouping of work delivered to crews, in turn increasing productivity and reducing travel time. - the Appointment Booking solution for customer service jobs, saving the company a considerable amount of money which would have been used purchasing an off the shelf appointment booking solution. Although I have been with Energex for 10 years, my first job was owning and operating a small courier business contracting to a photocopy company. We provided a deliver and install service to customers all over Brisbane. Starting this independent role early in my working career has helped in defining the self management, self drive and customer/ end user satisfaction I pride myself in to this day.I am passionate about my work and always strive to deliver the best I can. I enjoy all aspects of my job but my favourite is connecting with the end users and really understanding what opportunities and improvements can be made to systems and processes. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Information Systems and have a certificate IV in Frontline Management. I am always interested in connecting with former colleagues, managers and others in the industry so feel free to contact me if you would like to connect.
