About Matt Haikin

I have worked at the junction of development programming & digital technologies for 12+ years since completing my Masters’ degree in ICTs for Development in 2012; in UK charities, INGOs, Southern civil society and the private sector, up to Director/co-CEO level.I am equally comfortable in strategic advisory roles, as leading teams in project delivery or product development - as a consultant or as an employee. I apply strategic critical thinking and a collaborative approach to my work whether that be thought partnership, policy development, network building or tangible product and project delivery.I have a particular interest in and experience of participatory and inclusive approaches to the use of digital technologies in a development context, recently broadened to explore how the #ShiftThePower movement and Digital Transformation can work together effectively, and am recognised as something of a ‘thought leader’ in this space.
