However, that growth has led to "review sprawl" and their algorithmic nature leads to overwhelming category maps. - Cloud Ratings angle: First, we apply *human analyst* curation to narrow each category to the most relevant vendors- Then we combined publicly observable data points - including all of the major software review platforms - with *private vendor data* sourced through our Request For Information (RFI) process with vendors. - Our quadrants are set according to market share and customer satisfaction. Said differently, "completeness of vision," "ability to execute," and qualitative opinions on "strategy" are NOT part of our quadrants. We view our market share + customer satisfaction methodology as reliable, meritocratic, and repeatable. Acquired a leading mobile app / game award platform from its Founder. Entry into awards industry formed basis for creation of APPEALIE (SaaS Awards) and SEAL (Awards-Led Environmental Advocacy Group) brands. Transitioned Tabby management to key staff.

Failed bootstrap attempt at developing a SaaS event software firm. Many lessons learned.

Completed control / growth equity investments in two market-leading SaaS companies: IRTH Solutions and SambaSafety.

Completed principal investments across energy, retail, engineering and business services sectors through Ares first two private equity funds (ACOF I + II). Significant operational and financial restructuring responsibilities for a $400 mm revenue portfolio company.

Primary focus on M&A, leveraged buyouts and leveraged finance. Lead analyst on 10 M&A transactions. Lead analyst on $10 billion + of debt, convertible and equity capital markets transactions.
