This was such an amazing opportunity, even if it was cut short by COVID, I'm glad that I got the chance to get this experience. My daily activities included: Inspection of all Automation equipment (Electronic and Hydraulic motors and lifts) Inspection of the drive cabinets, including physical safety logic. Operation of pre-programmed Automation moves during the show. Programming and safety testing of Automation consoles and equipment. Also got the amazing opportunity to help construct five new drive cabinets for some large stagelifts. This gave me the chance to understand the physical electronic logic circuits underneath the software logic, that help to keep everyone safe. I also helped to test and trouble shoot all 5 cabinets during and after deployment, validating all safety logic and making sure everything was operating within tolerances both physically and electrically.

Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all scenic elements including Automation and Rigging.Assisted in design and fabrication of new scenic elements. Loaded in new show at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas. Helped to both originate new show tracks and train other members of the department in these positions. Also assisted in coordinating and implementing offsite events and gigs, Including corporate event entertainment, charity events, and the grand opening of the new T-Mobile Arena.

Managed scene shop and budget for the build of all shows. Translated drawings and renderings from scenic designers into build drawings for the shop. Managed and trained all running crew and organized and directed all show changeovers.

Managed a staff of over 50 employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and keeping staff informed of day to day operations and goals. My duties also included responsibility for inventory, ordering and cost analysis. This also included anticipating staffing needs based on historical data and current local events. Including planning and implementing large events in the restaurant itself for groups ranging from 10-300 people, and ranging from cocktail hours with light appetizers, to fully themed events and dinners. My primary responsibility during the actual events was to plan and take preemptive measures so that the clients concerns and needs were taken care of before they even realized they had them.
