- Integrated optical character recognition software into my team’s website and created an interactive user interface for the software for my team’s researchers.- Allowed users to upload scanned documents and process the important metadata from the documents to upload to the database.- Utilized a web development stack of AngularJS, Django, and Elasticsearch.- Implemented RESTful APIs in Django that process user search requests and return a JSON response when querying the database using ElasticSearch queries.- Handled concurrent user requests using Celery and Redis as the message broker.
