In this startup company I Reported to the COO. I drew on my previous experience to provide direct technical and operational management support to the clinical directors of the 7 laboratory sites across UAE. My role included being Head of IT and data analysis with three direct reporting staff, LIS and BI software super admin, control of all Interlab logistics and intralab procurement, analyser contract negotiations, project planning and implementations of new tests and equipment with micro teams in different labs and departments with subsequent change management and quality cycle review, design and implementation of SOP related to each task I was involved in, ensuring accreditation standards were met on every workflow/system.

The duties of this position were split between aiding in managing the distributor network of the region, providing advanced technical expertise as needed and arranging marketing support within my distributors.

Reporting to the Lab manager, this is a supervisory promotion to a position in charge of the hematology laboratory with 8 staff directly reporting

Haematology specialised, Quality management, Develop new methodologies, validate tests, protocols and new instrumentation, Teach and advise staff, maintain staff competencies, organise daily workflow, maintain staff rostering, maintain stock inventory, ensure procedures and policies meet CAP, ISO, JCIA requirements, Provide technical advice and support for non routine tests and speciality cases to clinicians. Remain up to date with latest literature as related to Haematology and laboratory best practice.
