PhD Researcher at the University of Nottingham and the British Geological Survey.Researching the modelling of soft-cliffed coastal recession under climate change scenarios. This is a multidisciplinary project which requires knowledge of many topics, including model development, analysing large model outputs, stochastic climate simulation, uncertainty quantification and scaled experimental modelling.Mathematical experience in mathematical modelling, fluid dynamics, dynamical systems, plenty of statistics among others.Programming experience in MATLAB, C++, R, python, Fortran, and willing to learn other languages.Other experience in academic writing, handling large datasets, conference speaking, data presentation, teamwork and independent working.I am hardworking and adaptable, and a strong mathematical background means I quickly learn new methodologies, softwares and techniques.I love problem solving, and my ideal role is one which allows me to come up with innovative and creative solutions to problems.
