Serving as account lead on established and emerging technology consortiums. Developing strategic communications plans and delivering results via press releases, contributed articles, brand development, media relations and social media platforms.

Promoted to the foundation’s executive leadership team to help define and reestablish its mission during a time of organizational change. Headed up the foundation’s primary programming efforts, developing and implementing training curriculum and granting strategy. Led the strategic realignment of Mission Increase’s granting and training programs that help develop and strengthen fundraising skills for nonprofit leaders. Continued to direct the foundation’s communications, branding and marketing while taking on the challenge of incorporating key granting metrics into all curriculum and tracking growth metrics for the foundation itself.

Pursued an opportunity to impact and improve lives through a newly-created role targeted at building Mission Increase’s reach and impact. Developed an online system that enabled MI to train and consult with nonprofits from each of its regional offices. Led all of MI’s communications, website content and branding efforts.

Transitioned into an educational role, designing and presenting courses for agency staff on a wide range of public relations development skills. Collaborated with senior agency executives to ensure all messaging was on-target with the agency’s goals and best practices.

Represented the Microsoft Small and Midmarket Solutions & Microsoft Worldwide Partner Group. Interacted daily with Microsoft channel staff and press members, driving news, PR, thought leadership campaigns and analyst relations efforts on behalf of the Microsoft Worldwide Partner group.

Hired into a newly created role on WE’s Professional Broadcast Services team, with focus on expanding WE’s client offerings through development and delivery of broadcast news stories on behalf of agency clients. Also worked with corporate executives in collaboration with the agency’s Communications Training team to facilitate training and ensure readiness for national broadcast appearances.

Served as communications and public affairs officer for this global health organization. Regularly updated the press on NMTI’s activities through news releases, interviews, press conferences and outreach. Worked with civic groups and corporations to drive public affairs initiatives, developing excellent relationships with media representatives and reporters across the Pacific Northwest. Led the organization’s fundraising programs and events, volunteer engagement, donation programs, and an annual telethon.
