Here at Ionic Recruitment I predominantly provide resourcing support in the social housing sector of the company dealing with high end housing associations, social housing contractors and subcontractors. AM Joinery are a sub- contractor to a company based in Knowsley named Elder point who specialise in container modifications and portakabin new builds. I was employed to carry out all aspects of joinery work on the portakabin's including 1st fix joinery, 2nd fix joinery, skirting installs, architrave installs, floor laying, joint welding, window installs, sealing and snagging making sure works handed over where to company standards. This was a fast paced environment so I had to work off my own indicative following day to day processes to ensure works where running effectively and efficiently to strict deadlines. Here I have learned many aspects in the construction field working alongside many trades so I have a first sight knowledge on what is required of what trades. Also here at AM Joinery I to liaise and communicate with site managers and clients updating them on the process of work.

Tesla Energy Services was a company that’s specialised in cavity wall insulation and loft insulation making profit on government granted schemes. I was initially employed as an apprentice before receiving a promotion and pay rise due to progression in the industry. I was employed as a submissions coordinator submitting files and paperwork (pre, mid and post) to clients ensuring all information sent over was compliant so funds could be processed to make the company profitable. I was a team of my own so on most occasions I had to use my own initiative when problems would occur. I was the last line in the process at the end of the spectrum meaning I would have to work closely with clients to ensure the company was to be paid the correct amount and on time. All works completed was to be passed to me for compliance checks to client satisfaction before I would send off the compliant ready files/ documents. My main tasks here:• Daily use of spreadsheets (updating and inputting information)• Compliance checks on paper work and documents• Liaising with clients to come to agreements in terms of payments, documents and timescales-Liaising with fitters regarding there post installation paperwork - at times I had to send them back out to the customers properties to make sure all documents where signed by both fitter and customer• Processing of evidence photos taken at install Pre, Mid and Post installation• Liaising with sub-contractors submitting work through us as we had the contract agreements with the government that other companies could not get a grant on
