I am the ACT manager of fire safety engineering for Jensen Hughes and am responsible for the operations of the Canberra office. I have almost a decade of experience working in the broader fire industry. Prior to my employment at Jensen Hughes, I worked for a product developer and supplier in the fire industry with experience in R&D, sales and project management. I completed my Master of Fire Safety Engineering at Western Sydney University where I was awarded the Dean’s Medal for academic achievement. I have completed fire safety engineering assessments and prepared performance solution reports for a wide range of new and existing buildings – including residential, office buildings, retail buildings and educational facilities. I am also one of the primary consulting fire engineers for the Department of Defence – Estate Engineering Policy Directorate.With an understanding of the intricacies in balancing design, time and budget, I help my clients to predict and resolve issues that arise during both the design and construction phases of a project. I enjoy forming an integral part of the project team and providing a significant contribution to the final project delivery.I am a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) in fire safety and a Certifier - Fire Safety in NSW.
