My main responsibility as an International Logistics Analyst was to develop, validate, and implement best-in-class export capabilities. To do this I started by analyzing the current costs, miles traveled, and transit time of each unit from the various plants to international subsidiaries. Through routing changes I discovered that there is an average cost savings of 30% per unit, as well as a 25% reduction in transit time to subsidiaries. I am currently in the process of running test loads to validate these savings, as well as actively assigning and managing tasks for the successful implementation of this initiative.I was also assigned to track savings on two projects.
