Project initiated as a result of the Fieldwood Bankruptcy. ➤ Performed due diligence in support of Continental Resources' purchase of Samson Resource Company's Powder River Basin Leases and Assets in Wyoming. ➤ Executed due diligence for the buyer of OCS Leases, related agreements and facilities located in the Gulf of Mexico. ➤ Performed due diligence for the buyer of a significant overriding royalty interest ($400MM+) in the Marcellus Shale.

➤ My team delivered 60-70 wells/year, completed 20+ tactical acreage trades, and force pooled 50+ units while managing 300+ well proposals/year from 3rd parties. ➤ Led the Land Due Diligence team in support of Marathon’s acquisition of BC Operating Inc. ($1.2 billion, 70,000 net acres) leasehold in SE New Mexico. Post-acquisition I led a team of 7-10 Land Professionals that stewarded ~90,000 net acres of leasehold across private, State and BLM Lands.

Land Supervisor – Eagle Ford Asset Team➤ Managed a team of 5-7 Land Professionals following Marathon's $3.5 Billion acquisition of Hilcorp's Eagle Ford Assets. Delivered 75-80 wells/year, managed 15 Central Facilities and related infrastructure and developed and implemented new Land processes and procedures.

Land Professional, Gulf of Mexico & Bakken Asset Teams➤ Gulf of Mexico - Drafted and negotiated Farmouts, Participation Agreements, Like-Kind-Exchange Agreements, Joint Bidding Agreements, JOAs, Well Data Trades, Confidentiality Agreements and Production Handling Agreements. Familiar with BOEM / BSEE regulations, BOEM Sale Processes and relevant NTLs.➤ Bakken - Managed title clearance, lease acquisition and lease/contract obligations for an active rig program (6-8 rigs). Ensured Federal Exploratory Unit (18,000+ acres) was developed and maintained in accordance with the Unit and Operating Agreements.
