Serve as back-up FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) officer.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:-Provide community advocacy services, and coordinate agency’s publicity and community awareness programs, enhancing legislative relations and awareness through participant-legislator interaction.-Cultivate intergovernmental relationships with local schools and community organizations.-Manage $450,000 annual recreation budget, prepare budget reports, and manage bid process for large purchases.-Oversee agency scholarship program, evaluating applicants, making awards, and stewarding donors.-Helped recruit and transition 2 new members (the Village of Brookfield and Lemont Park District) into SEASPAR organization.-Grew EAGLES young adult day program to encompass 40% of all service hours and 37% ($300,000) of program revenue, supporting agency’s financial stability and programmatic maturity, and doubling specific program revenue.-Instituted Drop-In Center program for individuals with mental health needs, tween programs for youth ages 10 to 15, and HomeFront Health program for disabled veterans.-Spearheaded events and programming that won 4 state awards from Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) and Illinois Therapeutic Recreation Association (ITRS).
