As a Financial Systems Project Intern at the New York Racing Association (NYRA), I worked closely with the Senior Director of Financial Systems Transformation and the NYRA finance department to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of NYRA’s financial processes. I also contributed to preparing the company for future financial projects. This hands-on experience allowed me to refine my skills in clear communication, data analysis, agile project management, and large-scale accounting utilizing Blackline Systems. Through this role I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of organization and the standardization of data across systems.I am enthusiastic about applying my skills and knowledge to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the financial services industry, and beyond.
