My attention to detail and my love of numbers led me to complete an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (First Class), with a mathematics and a data science minor at the University of Calgary. For the next stage of my journey, I am continuing my education with a Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Calgary. Here, I will be learning further tools to apply economic concepts to solve real-world problems. My main interests are in financial and regulatory economics, along with data science.Throughout my academic pursuits, I have developed skills in economic analysis, leadership, researching, modelling, and data science. Proficient in Python, R, and SQL, I leverage statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques to draw meaningful conclusions from data. Outside of school, I have played hockey my whole life. In addition to pushing myself physically, I love the social aspect of being part of a team and the opportunity to continue building and refining my skills. I am a fish-keeping enthusiast and I maintain a 55-gallon aquarium with fish and plants from around the world. I also advocate for endangered animals and have adopted an orangutan named Pingky in Indonesia for over 10 years.I am always happy to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for using data to make a positive impact on society.
