I graduated in Psychology as a mature student in 2020 at the age of 27 and I'm now looking for work supporting the homeless, those at risk of homelessness or offenders. I currently work full time for my Dad, a registered HETAS stove installer, who's trained me up as his assistant because he wants to support me while I look for jobs in my area of interest... and he says I'm good at it! The variety of job roles that I undertook before and during my degree have helped me develop excellent organisational and communication skills and I work well on my own initiative as well as part of a team. I feel that my strengths lie in service-user facing roles. I'm compassionate, a team player, a good listener and committed to working with people who are less fortunate than me. These are values and skills which I bring to my voluntary role with The Samaritans and previous voluntary work at St Mungo’s homeless charity and the St David’s Hospice charity shop.I love playing football and have been playing for local teams since I was 8 years of age. I've been playing for Pontymister for the last 10 years. The sort of roles I'm interested in are: Floating support worker, Tenancy support worker, Support worker, Resettlement worker, Project worker, Key worker
