Software engineer working on high integrity / safety critical projects for aerospace. Primarily working in the development team coding in Ada/SPARK but have also taken on the duties of build engineer for integration activity. Recently been given the responsibility of sustainability and system health monitoring for software in operational use.

Implementing updates, fixes and new features to the company software catering to an existing template for their application using C# and SQL in an Agile work environment.

Seasonal, casual work during the University holidays. Not always the most glamorous work, though it had its highlights, such as guarding a swan at a rugby match. My drive, ethics and capability often resulted in permanent job offers, though my return to university meant I ethically had to decline their kind offers. The work was varied and included night shifts, warehouses, deliveries, guarding, factories, manufacturing etc. It was hard and I learned a great deal about interacting with people of all intellects and cultures, most of all I learned how important it was that I did well at university. Selected as one of only 2 Computing students from USW to study in New York, I was privileged to be given a unique insight into international study, both culturally and educationally. Whilst I managed to travel to several US States, I was also recognised on the Dean’s List as a top achiever. In this role, I provided day to day admin support as well as filtering and uploading candidates onto a database for recruitment purposes. Whilst employed to develop and populate the ecommerce website and look after any IT issues, I also occasionally helped with customer sales when store was busy.

My primary duty was to assist staff at an information security recruitment office, identifying candidates for specific roles and shortlisting them, using the internal database and social media

Responsible for all aspects of customer facing retail during their busiest time of the year, this included, Sales, operating cash register and customer service, stock replenishment, advising customers on product

Supporting the family business and it’s cyber security website, whilst at school, my duties include developing digital images and animations for company website, checking website for dead links and other errors, Microsoft Office related tasks such as typing documents and creating spread sheets
