Primary legal support for day-to-day land, surface, marketing, water, minerals and regulatory business units. Manage the company's land and regulatory related litigation and administrative proceedings. Assist in the drafting and negotiation of transaction documents for the company's acquisitions, divestitures, and exchanges.

Managed all stages of the company's administrative, federal and state litigation proceedings located throughout the country. Interacted daily with employees and officers from a variety of business units including land, land administration, drilling, completions, production, marketing, IT, and accounting to advise on an assortment of company issues and opportunities. Drafted, reviewed, and approved all material commercial and transactional agreements relating to all facets of the company's upstream oil and gas business. Managed, coordinated, and negotiated all of the company's oil and gas assset acquisitions, exchanges, and divestitures, including the successful divestment of over $500 million dollars of non-core assets in 2016.

Managed CVX assets located in over forty counties along the Texas Gulf Coast with previous experience in the San Juan Basin located in New Mexico and Colorado. Worked on a variety of land related activities, including: oil and gas leasing, contract negotiation and management, fee acreage real estate transactions, regulatory issues involving state, tribal, and federal government agencies, and numerous internal project teams.
