I am a student who has been given the opportunity to work myself up in the world by being fortunate enough to be able to support myself through university. During this time I have sought to learn as much as I am able to, while diversifying my skill sets. My goal in this is to have gained the experiences to know what works best for me so that I am in turn able to provide my best work back to a company that inspires me. At the current moment I am looking for an internship or part-time job to advance my skills while remaining flexible enough to thrive in university Starting off in university I had focused on working to support myself, and extracurriculars that I believe had improved my passion and depth of knowledge for engineering (especially automotive). Including the chance to learn on my own how to work on classic engines, the opportunity to be a core team member in restarting UCSB's SAE program, and much more. While my GPA is not exemplary at the moment, it is on its way up as I have been rapidly learning how to manage a growing list of responsibilities.My most recent position has been working with Sunshine Communications, a contractor for COX Cable. I have been working as a cable technician since 10/2021. This career has given me hands on skills involved with working with complex equipment, troubleshooting skills, as well as further advancing my people skills that I have picked up from my previous jobs in the service sector and beyond.
