 Extensive research and implementation of all upgrades related to the NYPD Police Academy’s technology Leverage solid technical skills in providing support for the following: o Over 500 desktops, network printers, and print servers including setup and configuration of devices; and o Software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite and NYPD-designed applications Troubleshooting and resolution of network connectivity issues and video conferencing applications Accountability for seamless operation of devices, computer terminals, laptops, printers, and classroom projectors for the entire executive staff and Police Academy as well as for off-site locations through comprehensive technology support Vital role as the local area network administrator responsible for Active Directory, cloud-based shared drive, and file/directory recovery Fulfillment of other key tasks including management and support of the following: o Distribution of 1700 Microsoft Surface and Dell tablets to police academy recruits entailing device maintenance, management, and monitoring; and o Installation of various audio-visual equipment along with the troubleshooting and resolution of issues Administration of the NYPDU Training Attendance Certificate Transcript Integrated Collection System (TACTICS) which entails user and scheduling management, along with the development and launch of web-based modules Major contribution to the planning and subsequent deployment of a special project to upgrade projectors used in facilitating training courses within the Police Academy by adopting a newer technology Management and accomplishment of the following technical projects: o Digitalization of recruit curriculum; o Development of wide wireless upgrades
