Current Extensive research and implementation of all upgrades related to the NYPD Police Academy’s technology Leverage solid technical skills in providing support for the following: o Over 500 desktops, network printers, and print servers including setup and configuration of devices; and o Software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite and NYPD-designed applications Troubleshooting and resolution of network connectivity issues and video conferencing applications Accountability for seamless operation of devices, computer terminals, laptops, printers, and classroom projectors for the entire executive staff and Police Academy as well as for off-site locations through comprehensive technology support Vital role as the local area network administrator responsible for Active Directory, cloud-based shared drive, and file/directory recovery Fulfillment of other key tasks including management and support of the following: o Distribution of 1700 Microsoft Surface and Dell tablets to police academy recruits entailing device maintenance, management, and monitoring; and o Installation of various audio-visual equipment along with the troubleshooting and resolution of issues Administration of the NYPDU Training Attendance Certificate Transcript Integrated Collection System (TACTICS) which entails user and scheduling management, along with the development and launch of web-based modules Major contribution to the planning and subsequent deployment of a special project to upgrade projectors used in facilitating training courses within the Police Academy by adopting a newer technology Management and accomplishment of the following technical projects: o Digitalization of recruit curriculum; o Development of wide wireless upgrades
