I am currently an Emergency Management Specialist within the Federal Programs division of WSP USA. Duties include servicing all disaster preparedness, response, and recovery contracts held at the local, state, and federal levels. I also support state and local agency EOC and logistical staging area operations. I have served as a field Resource Unit Leader supporting the FEMA/USACE Advanced Contract Initiative for Temporary Emergency Power for several federally declared disasters including Hurricane Fiona (Puerto Rico), Hurricane Ian (Florida), and the Maui Wildfires (Hawaii). Additionally, I partake in business development proposals and assist in subcontractor procurement management.

- Ensured the operational readiness of approximately $300,000 in emergency response support vehicles and mobile field hospitals used in responding to mass-casualty incidents and natural disasters throughout the southeast.- Performed daily inventory counts of approximately 500,000 pieces of COVID-19 medical Personal Protective Equipment from the Strategic National Stockpile and North Carolina Emergency Management reserves.- Coordinated the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and other healthcare agencies within the Duke Healthcare Preparedness Coalition.

- Created a complete business continuity management system through auditing, risk assessments, system revisions, and creating emergency action plans.- Created three tabletop exercises with accompanying situation manuals and after-action review reports for fire alarms, mass-casualty emergencies, and hazardous material incidents.- Prepared COVID-19 specific situation briefings for the corporate crisis communication team, conducted foreign and domestic travel risk assessments for critical company personnel.
